I purchased this manual winch for a specific project; reattach the top 1/3rd of my brick/block mailbox post. It was struck and the mortar was broken below the box proper. The top weighed about 450-600lbs? I lifted the top off with the winch, re-mortored the joint, and lowered the top back in place. Perfect outcome. Mason estimate was $15-1800. Counting the winch, and the mortar, final cost was $100! The winch worked perfectly and was very intuitively designed.

Good product. Built very well. Chains/hooks are heavy duty. Unit works well and I am happy overall with this product. I am not working in a commercial application with the unit. How unit would perform in an industrial/construction is not an area I can comment on.

A lot of hoist for the money
As others have noted, this 6-ton chain hoist is big and heavy. So big and heavy you won't want to just whip it out and use it for every little thing you want to lift or pull. But it has great capacity for the price and seems to be well made.
