The biggest improvement is that now a battery operated fuel pump will fit down the fuel cap opening!!

These VEVOR 5-gallon metal jerry cans are very well built thick steel, solid welds, and zero leaks. The cap seals tight and the spout makes pouring easy with no mess. Great quality for the price and perfect for hauling fuel on trips. Highly recommend!

Good product seals are a bit weak but not a total failure could be better rubber seals instead of foam gaskets but in all a great copy of the ols jerry cans

Fuel opening is too small for using a battery operated submerged fuel pump.

This is a nice Jerry can with the exception the seams are rolled and not welded. Watch the You Tube Video on the WW 2 issues with getting fuel to the front lines and the issues Brittan and the US had with the loss of fuel because of leakage. The US tried to copy the German fuel cans "Jerry Cans" and they worked great for a short period of time but then the rolled seams "rolled was cheaper and quicker to make". There was still an unacceptable loss of fuel do to the seams leaking. Saying this keep in mind that that a steel Jerry can is better than plastic but be aware that under severe conditions the rolled seams may start to leak.
