I was skeptical at first, I have always cleaned the chimney from the roof. I recently had a metal roof installed over the asphalt shingles. Now the roof is slippery to walk on. So I purchased this item to clean the chimney from the cellar. Works really well in our 2 story with a daylight basement house. Didn't even need a drill, was able to clean the chimney by hand, using the provided rods and brushes.
