Never received item, Vevor was very difficult to deal with, countless emails back and forth. You can not talk to someone on the phone to try to resolve something. Thank goodness i used PAYPAL, they resolved my problem in 2 days, after dealing with Vevor for 4 weeks.

I am a 62 year old master electrician since 1990. I am impressed with the over all construction of the retractable cord. I purchased it because of the 12 guage wire the cord is made of. Typical cords are 14 or even 16 guage wire. According to the NEC 12 guage is rated for 20 amps. 14 is rated for 15 amps and 16 guage is rated for 10. At 62 feet long you want the bigger guage wire to avoid any voltage drop issues. I like that the tribtap end lite up letting you know there is voltage present. I love it, but it's finicky

Good: Solid construction. Easy to install. Great length for my garage workshop. Plugs work great without breaking in. Bad: It's sometimes difficult to get the grips to engage and takes a couple minutes to get it to stop trying to retract. Overall, I'm super glad to have it even with it fighting me at times. Total game changer for the garage!

Looks and works great! I was able to mount in ceiling of garage using 2 bolts through garage opener brackets so it's centrally located yet out of the way. The lighted plug servers as a reminder that it's there and ready to go!
