Very well made product, very easy to use and no leaks

A bit pricey but if you think about the time of patching the ceiling and all that , it’s cheaper at the end and very easy to use

It's the easiest way to set a center tub drain.

I purchased 2 different items similar to this product, as soon as this came in I sent back the others. High quality metal flange(thought at first it was going to plastic) easy install. Product is great! Things to think about during layout: distance from drain fitting to P trap, the extension is 8” long Does tub allow for flange to be flush or recessed in floor.

This well thought out 'drop-in' waste installation kit gave us a superb, well designed and complete solution for our freestanding bath install in a small bathroom. Our free-standing bath is a 'flush-to-floor' type with no space underneath to provide access to plumb a waste from below once the bath is in position on the floor. This 'drop-in' waste solution fixed that problem. The bath came with a flimsy and weak-looking flexible waste pipe that would likely present blockage and/or leaking problems within a few years' time and I didn't want to risk using it. Our floor void space wasn't very deep (about 7" only) so we fabricated our own hard plastic U-bend (P-trap) waste outlet and laid that in the underfloor void and connected it to our waste run. Using the connectors and adaptors supplied in the kit, we attached the copper down-pipe to the bath waste. Because of the lack of depth in the underfloor, we had to build up the mounting level for the yellow metal funnel and cut an 1" or so off the copper down-pipe. (You are instructed NOT to do this, but we machined, chamfered, and sanded the cut edge smooth so as not to tear the rubber seal in the yellow funnel.) We lubricated up the down pipe and funnel seal, rolled the bath over into place and 'hey presto'; a watertight seal, with no waste plumbing visible. A very effective solution, that I'd recommend to all freestanding installers. I put in my order on the Sunday evening, and it was shipped to me in England on the following Friday morning for a very reasonable shipping cost, so a full 5-stars for prompt delivery too.

Had a free standing tub installed and this was needed. Plumber said it worked great.... what else can I say.
