The cable is all the way in, how do i pull it out so i can install the cutting tip? i can't seem to get it out?
Dear Customer You need to put the spring outside the Drain Cleaner Machine straight on the floor, put the switch knob on the position of "CCW", then connect the power supply, use your foot to force the air bag, then immediately release it, then step down and release it, repeat it 6 to 7 times, the tube can be wound around.

I purchase this model, however it seems that my clog is 77 ft out. Therefore, can i purchase a 100 ft canle and replace the existing 75 ft cable?

High quality w 75 ft reach. I ordered this to fix a 4 inch main sewer line that was filled for days after a couple of teenage boys didn't believe me when I told them to use the bathroom somewhere else for a few days. I want to thank you for such an excellent product. I used it this weekend to unclog the bathroom sewage pipe. It worked really really well. Without this machine, there would be no way to unclog the pipe by myself, since I pulled out some cloth-like stuff and a lot of smashed plastic from the sewage pipe (I was shocked by those stuff in the pipe). The machine is very easy to operate. Thank you again.

Worked great cleaned the drain out. Had several companies come out to do it. The next morning it was stopped up again. It has been over a month and it is still good. Good buy. Instructions could have said belt goes around the snake frame. Included gloves are rubber, good for pulling snake out. But NOT good for feeding or pushing into drain pipe. As instructions say need leather gloves for feeding. Worked fine for my purposes. I purchased the 1/2 inch snake. The 3/8 inch snake & frame could be purchased as an attachment, I think. Thereby, having two size snakes if needed or wanted.

I used this to unclog my mainline at my home. The issue I had was roots in the drain pipe and it was 70 feet out. This snake worked well for the job and has paid for itself already. The only down side I have found is no splash guard but if there was, it would probably be harder to get to the line in the drum if needed. Overall good buy.

This machine ... with safety, knowledge and patience in hand... you just can't go wrong. I searched and compared before I purchased. Open face, well built cable 75ft x1/2in.... auger tip nice...cutters ok...spade tip too small for me. Made one slightly larger. Took on the job much faster than the one that came with it. Snaked my 4inch 50ft sewer pipe. My only hangup...the gloves that came with it are not fit for this cable. (Wrapped my gloves the 1st 4 turns). When I used my suede gloves it didn't happen once. Other than that ... rookies use the closed face machine.Think safer. Great machine. I 'll be buying a larger one later for more power and longer reach jobs. Please use (good quality gloves )made for snaking drains.
