WARNING \u2013 To reduce the risk of fire or explosion:<\/p>\n

  1. Do not spray flammable or combustible materials near an open flame or ignition sources such as cigarettes, motors, and electrical equipment.<\/li>\n
  2. For units that use only water-based materials – Do not spray or clean with flammable liquids. For use with water-based liquids only.<\/li>\n
  3. For units intended for use with only water-based or mineral spirit-type materials with a minimum flash point of 38\u00b0C) – Do not spray or clean with liquids having a flash point less than 38\u00b0C.<\/li>\n
  4. Paint or solvent flowing through the equipment can result in static electricity. Static electricity creates a risk of fire or explosion in the presence of paint or solvent fumes. All spray system parts, including the pump, spray gun, and objects in and around the spray area, shall be adequately grounded to protect against static discharge and sparks.<\/li>\n
  5. Do not use a paint or a solvent containing halogenated hydrocarbons. See operating instructions for examples of these materials.<\/li>\n
  6. Keep the spray area well ventilated. Keep a good supply of fresh air moving through the area. Keep the pump assembly in a well-ventilated area. Do not spray the pump assembly.<\/li>\n
  7. Do not smoke in the spray area.<\/li>\n
  8. Do not operate light switches, engines, or similar equipment in the spray area.<\/li>\n
  9. Keep the area clean and free of paint or solvent containers, rags, and other flammable materials.<\/li>\n
  10. Know the contents of the paints and solvents being sprayed. Read all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and container labels provided with the paints and solvents. Follow the paint and solvent manufacturer\u2019s safety instructions.<\/li>\n
  11. Fire extinguisher equipment shall be present and working.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    WARNING \u2013 To reduce the risk of skin injection:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Do not aim the electric paint sprayer gun at, or spray any person or animal.<\/li>\n
    2. Keep hands and other body parts away from the discharge. For example, do not try to stop leaks with any part of the body.<\/li>\n
    3. Always use the nozzle tip guard. Do not spray without the nozzle tip guard in place.<\/li>\n
    4. Only use a nozzle tip specified by the manufacturer.<\/li>\n
    5. Use caution when cleaning and changing nozzle tips. In the nozzle tip clogs while spraying, follow the manufacturer\u2019s instructions for turning off the unit and relieving the pressure before removing the nozzle tip to clean.<\/li>\n
    6. Do not leave the unit energized or under pressure while unattended. When the unit is not in use, turn off the unit and relieve the pressure per the manufacturer\u2019s instructions.<\/li>\n
    7. High-pressure spray can inject toxins into the body and causes serious bodily injury. If injection occurs, seek medical attention immediately.<\/li>\n
    8. Verify that all connections are secure before operating the unit.<\/li>\n
    9. Know how to stop the unit and bleed pressure quickly. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Household Use Only<\/h2>\n

        SERVICING OF A DOUBLE-INSULATED PRODUCT<\/p>\n

        In a double-insulated product, two insulation systems are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated product, nor should a means for grounding be added. Servicing of a double-insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel.<\/p>\n

        Replacement parts for a double-insulated product must be identical to those parts in the product.<\/p>\n
