Caster Wheels Installation Precautions

• Confirm your mounting surface can support each caster’s load (450 lb per wheel) and is flat, clean, and debris-free.

• Use appropriate fasteners (bolts or screws) of correct size and grade, tightened securely into all mounting holes on the swivel plate.

• Ensure the caster’s plate sits flush against the surface—any gap may impair swivel action or bearing performance.

• Tighten mounting hardware evenly in a cross pattern to prevent uneven stress on the plate and wheel.

Use Precautions

• Regularly inspect castors, brackets, and locks for wear, bending, or looseness—replace damaged units promptly.

• Do not exceed the load rating.
