- Open the package and carefully remove the device from the package. Remove the packaging material as well as the packaging/transport fuses (if available).
- Check that the delivery is complete.
- Check the appliance and accessories for damage in transit.
- If possible, store the packaging until the end of the warranty period.
INTENDED USE
The Walk-behind Hand Push Floor Sweeper is intended for sweeping flat and dry surfaces such as driveways, patios, yards, etc.
The machine may only be used as intended.
This device is not designed for commercial or industrial use.
PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
Installation of feed brushes (Figure 3-6)
- Insert the feed brush onto the sweeper.
- Then attach the feed brush with the cap.
- Pay attention to the lettering on the cap. Turn the cap in the direction of the arrowhead.
- Repeat the procedure on the other side.
- To disassemble the feed brushes, turn the cap in the direction, remove the cap and the feeding brush.
MOUNTING OF PUSH BARS (FIGURE 7-10)
Mount the lower and upper push bars as shown in Figures 7 to 10. The height of the push bar can be adjusted by selecting the second mounting hole.
OPERATION
The feed brushes and the sweeping brush are rotated via the belt drive by pushing the sweeper. The rotating feed brushes sweep the dirt to the center. This is collected by the sweeping brush and transported to the waste container.
EMPTYING THE WASTE CONTAINER (FIGURE 11)
Warning! Dust can be hazardous to health. Wear a dust mask!
Remove the waste container from the appliance as shown in Figure 11. Empty and insert the waste collector connect it back into the device.
PARKING POSITION (FIGURE 8, 12, 13)
The device can be folded for space-saving storage. To do this, loosen the lower nuts with the quick-release function until the pins (Figure 8) pop out of the fixation and unfold the push bar (Figure 12). Alternatively, the upper nuts with the quick-release function can be loosened afterwards.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Keep guards and air vents as dust and dirt-free as possible.
- We recommend that you clean the appliance immediately after each use and regularly with a damp cloth and soap.
- Do not use detergents or solvents; these could attack the device’s plastic parts.
- Make sure that no water can enter the appliance’s interior.
STORAGE
Store the appliance and its accessories in a dark, dry and frost-free place. The optimal storage temperature is between 5 and 30°C. Keep the power tool in its original packaging.
