I really like this scale. As a big guy finding a scale that could take my weight was a little tough. Had already tried 2 others. Two concerns when buying a scale is seeing the numbers. Sorry but when you are trying to lose weight you still need to see past your midsection so bending over can throw off a reading. NOT with this scale.

These scales are easy to set up and use. I am using them in a closet with no electrical outlet. With the battery backup, and outlet is not required. It works seamlessly on batteries.

I recently had open heart surgery and one of the required steps is a daily weigh in after returning home to make sure there is no water retention. 3 pounds in a day is cause for alarm and a physician's call necessary. My old digital scale would show 3-4 lbs either way just by getting on, off and back on again. I did not want to spend $200 and upwards so I searched, read reviews and found this little gem. It has good looks, tucks away if needed, has an easy to read display that with the attached coiled coed can be placed almose anywhere you need. But most importantly it is accurate. I stepped off on and back on 3 times...same weight every time. No matter where you put your feet it gives an accurate reading. Plus, for me it can me manually shut off so if my cat or dog sit on it
nothing happens. I am estatic about this scale, you will be too.
