It struggles with bagels dough. After about 2 weeks of usage we here a "klacking" sound in the fan area. I oiled the spindle of the fan and it went away. It squeeks when mixing which is anoying but we shoved a hand towel in a gap between the bowl and the mixer and it fixed the squeek. We can do 6 sourdough loafs in one batch which is about the limit of this machine. Around 900g a loaf. It you can get it sub $500 on a coupon or discount it will be a great starter mixer for you. Just know you have a 3k mixer in your future from an Italian brand not far off.

If you’re looking for a mixer that can handle absolute chaos, Betty is THAT girl. I bought the 30 qt Vevor mixer for my bakery and this thing has been an absolute beast. She powers through massive batches of thick cookie dough without complaining, shaking, or sounding like she’s preparing for liftoff.
The bowl size is incredible, the motor is powerful, and it has completely changed my workflow. What used to take multiple batches and a lot of arm pain now gets done quickly and consistently. I’ve thrown heavy doughs, mix-ins, chocolate chunks, and giant cookie batches at it and Betty just keeps going like a tank in an apron.
She was also packaged incredibly well during shipping. Everything arrived very protected, secure, and in excellent condition, which honestly mattered a lot considering how massive and heavy this mixer is.
Assembly was straightforward, cleanup is manageable, and for the price point I honestly didn’t expect this level of performance. If you’re a cottage baker, small bakery owner, or someone scaling up production, this mixer is worth every penny.
Fair warning though: she is HUGE. Make sure you measure your space first because Betty arrives ready to dominate your kitchen both emotionally and physically. 😂
10/10. Would absolutely buy again.
