Not sure if it's a battery issue or possibly a recently bad speed sensor but my club car is only going like 10mph now unfortunately

I am a 20+ year salt water fishing guide. I recently bought a 36 volt trolling motor. A battery like this will not see salt spray. I’m also a firefighter and know first hand the hazards with salt water and lithium batteries. Do you think your 36 volt battery would work for my application.
