The performance is great—voltage readings are identical on both the primary and secondary batteries. I'm using this to charge a 200ah battery in the back of my truck to run a fridge and some electronics. The relay connection is straightforward. The only tricky part was routing the wire from the engine bay to the cab without drilling holes (which is a vehicle issue, not the product). Finished the install in one evening.

This seems to charge better than the standard relay types, and I love that you don't need to hunt for a "true ignition source" wire to make it work. My only complaint is that the indicator LED is very hard to see unless it's completely dark outside.

It gets the job done, but I wasn't impressed with the documentation—the instructions could be much clearer. Also, the backing plate design feels like it could be improved. However, all things considered, it is functional.

It works flawlessly. I installed this on a large truck to maintain a backup battery for a power inverter (running my power tools). The installation was mostly easy, and the kit includes almost everything you need. The quality feels solid. My only note is that I had to drill the holes on the wire tips a little bigger to get them to fit, but other than that, everything is perfect.
