It helps if you already know how to make donuts.It's a simple design. It heats oil, has a hopper that drops dough into the hot oil, and a timer that flips the donuts. Pretty basic. We got the single row so we would not need to stand around and watch the donuts and prevent the dough from bumping into one another.Very happy with the machine, will probably purchase another this year.

It was so easy to assemble!

I can't really tell you much, the unit came with an open carton and pieces missing. Vevor was unable to get the replacement parts or tell me who the manufacture was so I could get them from them. Vevor eventually refunded my purchase price and told me to keep the machine, the machine is useless without the parts and I haven't been able to find a source even though this same unit is sold under several labels. This is the kind of equipment that will probably require service or repair at some point. Before you buy anything like this check to see if parts and service are available or you will be S.O.L. the day something breaks.
