My son and I bought this for him to get back and forth to town and give him some measure of indepence, as he can't drive yet, and the bike we got him when he was a child he could never get the balance to ride after he became too heavy for child's training wheels. We were happy to finally find an adult trike we could afford for him, with my brother having found it for us. We ere all very excited when it arrived, and assembling it became a project for him, his uncle, his aunt, and the roommate we had at the time. Once we got past a hiccup with rear axle and a hole that needed threading tapped in to get the bolt in, things went smoothly. The only issue we've had since then is chain repairs to get that linked closed randomly, and the seat sliding down. The bolt for the seat needs replaced already, but that's not a big issue, we somewhat expected that as he's a big lad and his weight will increase as he works on converting his fat into more muscle. It's just the nature of the beast, and one of the reasons he's been so set on getting a healthy body built with his genetically predisposed larger frame.
Riding this trike he says has been great, and he is very happy with it. He takes himself the 8 mile round trip into town several days a week. He's very happy about the size of the basket as it means between that and a backpack he can expect enough room for a decent grocery haul if I am in a condition I'm unable to do the shopping, or if there is a package to bring home from the post office.
